As the apostle Paul exclaimed when he saw the pure gospel transforming men: This prophetic picture shows the apostolic church led on by its divine Captain to victory over a pagan world, its doctrines pure, and its victorious Leader, Christ Himself. He rides the white horse, white being the emblem of victory and also of purity. In the first seal we see Christ with the wreath of a conqueror. These seals cover seven eras or periods of time from the time of the apostles to the second coming of our Lord Jesus Christ and, to a large extent, they depict: religious affairs in the world.
